Bracing & Cabling
Trees often develop weak or poor structure and require special care to preserve and prevent further injury to the tree or surrounding environment. A common problem is weakly attached limbs that are of the same size in diameter at the junction of the trunk. This may cause horizontal branches to become heavy and dangerous, leaving them vulnerable to weakening through decay or storm damage. In these instances, bracing and cabling are required to reduce stress on the limbs. Broadleaf Tree & Landscape performs all bracing and cabling is in accordance with industry standards. All hardware used for bracing and cabling is designed for use in trees and is installed accordingly. We recommend bracing and cabling be checked annually to monitor cable tension and stability of anchor bolts. |
